Had a 2009 FX35 which had a bad brake light (replaced under warranty), and had the transmission reflash done (no problems afterwards), and a 2012 FX50 with no issues whatsoever. In fact, I have not seen any consistent problems with the 2nd generation other than issues with the transmission shifting (cured by the reflash).The lower the rpm the less your going to burn gas. Besides stupid EPA regulations, it's just the nature of having a transmission with 7 gears. This is not isolated to Infiniti only. On porches and Benz and bimmers with 7 speed, 8 speed, and yes even 9 speed autos, this is a common problem and it's the lag.Bose system/no navigation.
